RIMS® ORDERING INFORMATION
HOW TO ORDER:
1. The size RIMS® mount you order is based on the size and lug configuration of your drum.
2. Choose a mounting plate ('Universal' or 'Half Plate') option that will fit with your hardware.

The Universal Plate has pre-stamped hole patterns for most of the current hardware used by the major drum companies such as Tama, Gretsch, DW, Ludwig, Pearl, Yamaha, etc. GPI can also modify this plate to fit older hardware that may have been discontinued.

The Half Plate is designed to fit "L" arm style hardware such as Gibralter, DW, Ludwig, Tama, etc. It will adapt to any "L" arm mounts that use the standard 2 vertical bolts with the dimensions of the bolts at 2" to 2.5" (50.8mm-63.5mm) apart.

Need a Plate Modification?
Below is a list of the major drum brands and their mounting compatibility with RIMS®. Most hardware fits one of our side plates without any issue, but if you have a make/model of hardware that requires us to modify our mounting plate, you can add the modification to your order here. Plate modification are $10 per mount. If you are ordering multiple RIMS® mounts, order as many modifications as required for your order (i.e. for an order with 3 RIMS® mounts, add 3 plate modifications if you want the plate for each mount modified). Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Drum Workshop:
RIMS® works great with DW hardware and no modifications are necessary when replacing the DW STM mount. Order the 'Half Plate' option when purchasing.

Gretsch:
Most Gretsch hardware fits our side plate without need for modification. The exception is the Gretsch GS1-GTSB L-Arm bracket. Order this side plate modification below. Be sure to choose the 'Half Plate' option when ordering your RIMS® mount.

Ludwig:
RIMS® works great with most Ludwig hardware and no modifications are necessary. The only exception is the old 'Ludwig Modular Mount'. Order this side plate modification below. Most Ludwig hardwares fit with our 'Half Plate' option. The 'Modular Mount' requires the 'Universal Plate' option.

Mapex:
Mapex is constantly making small changes to their hardware and mixing the hardware with different drum sets and mounting systems. The designation of the drum set does not always match the name of the hardware. If you order a Mapex modification for your Saturn, Meridian, Mydenity, or Voyagers drums we will contact you with an email so we can help determine the correct modification for your hardware. Regardless of which Mapex model you have, you will want to choose the 'Half Plate' option when purchasing. RIMS® works extremely well at opening up the resonance of these drums.

The YESS mount severely chokes Yamaha's quality drums by placing a great deal of stress on concentrated area of the drum shell.
